Turbo and Superchargers

     Turbo and Superchargers – Packing more air into each cylinder allows you to get more power from the cylinder. Turbo chargers and super chargers increase the pressure in the incoming air therefore; they are packing more air into a cylinder. Supercharging is readily available for nearly all V8 engines. If you cannot get a supercharger for your engine, a turbocharger might be for you. Smaller engines can gain from a turbo system.

     Turbo and Superchargers:

Performance Boost: 40-50% increase in horsepower about 100hp in a V8 

Note: Headers and a cat-back system are needed in many cases. Use of 91 octane is also required. Additional items may be necessary, depending on which supercharger you use.
